In addition to being a professional Santa Claus, Daniel has been the owner of Spears Studio of Photography in Georgia since 1988, capturing timeless portraits, family events and professional photography throughout the U.S. and Europe. His award-winning photography career is marked by creativity, storytelling and a heart for people.
In recent years, Daniel has combined his talents in photography, community theater, choral music and journalism into a new role as Santa Spears, an Atlanta Santa Claus for hire by photographers, businesses, schools, preschools, daycares, churches and families. He quickly became a favorite for holiday mini sessions, Christmas events with Santa and magical in-home Santa visits across Georgia and beyond.
Santa Spears is a favorite with photographers because, as a photographer himself, he knows what photographers want and how to work with them.
Outside of the red suit, Daniel is a husband, father and grandfather who loves reading, traveling, cycling and serving his local church. His background in photography and his heart for people combine to make every Santa visit warm, memorable and full of holiday spirit.
